One month from today - Big Bertha and I head to Alaska, but before we leave I have an interesting task ahead of me!!

DJ and Leonard Garcia

Leonard "Bad Boy" Garcia

Current Professional MMA Record: 24 - 4 - 0 (Wins - Loss - Draw)
Height: 5' 10"
Weight: 145 pounds

Website: http://www.badboy145.com/

Over the next 4 weeks, I am both honored and blessed to be Strength and Conditioning Coach for one of the top MMA Cage Fighters in the world, former UFC and present WEC, World Extreme Cage Fighting Super Star, Leonard "Bad Boy" Garcia. I am helping Leonard prepare to step back inside the Octagon, August 9, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Before I continue, I want you to know, Leonard does not drink or do drugs. He is passionate about what he does and he also enjoys spending time with his family and friends!

Leonard has a work ethic that is second to done! If everyone had his drive, focus and determination the world would be a much nicer place.

What I have in store for Leonard to get him ready will not be easy and that is an understatement to say the least but I know he will face it and attach it like he does everything else. Leonard is already great but when he steps inside the cage five weeks from now, he will have become something we don't have a name for yet! :)

Having said that, if you ever get a chance to see Leonard in action, you are in for non-stop action. He is one of a kind. Yet he seemed to be embarrassed when I compare him to the Michael Jordon of MMA. Despite his extraordinary talent he is humble. This is another one of the many honorable traits I admire about this young yet seasoned warrior.

He has the "IT" factor ladies and gentlemen. So every time he fights, you must keep your eyes on him every single moment because you may miss something spectacular!!

Please check back - Leonard is getting ready for his big fight & so are Big Bertha and I - 8000 miles, over 28-days and the Alaska Highway North and South!! We'll keep you posted!!

Until next time my friends - God Bless, DJ & Big Bertha

Also to help raise money for my cause, I will take my trusty towel. After I beat my challengers in less than 15 minutes, with my Ultimate ECI Towel Training, they will each make a donation to our cause! As I ride through North America, I will film my ECI "Towel TAP" Challenge.

DJ and Lionel Taylor-Lanham

Each fighter, including Brian (The Pro Football Player) and one of the best in the world, Coach Mike Winklejohn have had the pleasure of experiencing my one-of-a-kind ECI Towel Training. Despite their extreme effort and Warrior spirit, no one was able to last 15 minutes. I am not saying this to brag. I have designed a routine that is intense and effective as they come. For the best trained and undoubtedly the best athletes in the world, MMA Fighters, need to be pushed to the extreme. Their lives and careers depend on it. So my job is to make sure they have what no other camp has, my ECI Training.

I would like to add, it is such a pleasure and an honor to work with these great young men. Team Jackson is a family and I am truly honored to be welcomed into such an amazing home!!

I explain to everyone I train, "It is not about me being stronger than you are." As you see I weigh-in at a whopping 130 lbs. + I'm 51 years old! My training is not a contest. It is designed to make everyone who does it, better!!

ALTHOUGH - I would like to put out a challenge to the world's strongest man, Mariusz Pudzianowski of Poland. Ht. 6'1", Wt. 291lbs., Chest: 58", Waist: 36", Thigh: 31", Biceps: 22", Forearm: 18", Bench Press: 606lbs. Squat: 794lbs, Dead lift: 871lbs. Pudzianowski, give me 15 minutes of your time but it won't take that long!!! Please give me the opportunity to take you to complete muscle failure!! You, me & my trusty TOWEL!!! Let's Get It ON - PUD!!!

Now that I've called out the strongest dude on the planet... As you can see - the fighters at Jacksons don't mess around either!!

Piccinini is from Brazil and is a world class MMA coach currently living in L.A. California. His life since 1980 has been dedicated to Martial Arts. What's DJ Up to NOW?

Jerome BEFORE we started training together November 5, 2008 - weight: 205

Jerome below - AFTER, November 29, 2008 - weight 172... 33 lb. weight loss in 25 days + he gained muscle, as you can see!!

Yes, she's training cage fighters. DJ's nutrition, strength and cardiovascular conditioning at it's best. Although her fighter Jerome "The Syn Jrome" Martinez was in the best condition of his life on November 29, 2008, he had to tap after being caught in an arm bar near the end of the first round. But before Jerome tapped he endured some of the most devastating blows to the head, recovered and slammed the other fighter to the mat. Jerome scored points with powerful punches, kicks and knee strikes! He also broke free from a rear naked choke that would have been lights out for most fighters. I am very proud of Jerome. He fought with heart and fire! He gave the other fighter a serious dose of the Radioactive Syn Jrome!

Stay tuned, you haven't heard the last of Jerome "The Syn Jrome" Martinez or from DJ "The Ultimate Kick Ass Trainer" Jones

Until next time my friends - Take care out there!!
